Bears Keep Coming To This Man’s Farm To Steal Honey, Decides To Turn Them Into Honey Tasters

Everyone who has read Winnie the Pooh in their childhood knows one thing: Bears love honey and do everything to get it. It may sound pretty cute, but it’s actually a problem for some beekeepers, as they sometimes enter bee farms and steal honey, destroying hives.

Fed up with bears stealing honey, a Turkish beekeeper, Ibrahim Sedef, decided that if he could not stop the bears, he might as well rely on their skills to taste the honey.

According to the Turkish newspaper DHA, Ibrahim is an agricultural engineer working in the beekeeping sector. He has long had problems with bears who were yearning for honey. Ibrahim did everything to protect the honey – but nothing worked. So he decided to turn bears into honey tasters.

To do that, the man installed a night-vision camera and aimed it at a table with some honey samples.

He prepared four samples for the bears to eat, ranging from the cheapest to the most expensive one. And the results showed that the bears have a rather expensive taste! For example, they did not even touch the cheapest cherry blossom honey.
